Our Plants make use of Municipal Water Source as source of portable Water. We have 6 x 10 000L JOJO Tanks installed to ensure continuous supply of water in case of a municipal shutdown or breakdown. This water also gets tested on an regular basis to ensure the water yield gives us the best possible strengths in our mixes.
We are currently using Afrisam Cement CEM 42.5R in our mixes; this gets blended with a classified Fly Ash from Ulula Ash. All our mixes are based on a 70/30 blend.
This material Complies with the SANS 1491 Part 2 Specification
We are currently using Chryso SA for the supply of our admixture; standard product used is 122 W Omega in all our mixes. In need of any other additives this can be added after it's been approved by a Qualified Engineer. The effects of the admixture we use have been tested in trail mixes; all data sheets of different admixtures are available on request. Samples are also taken and kept at Chryso for Quality Assurance purposes.
